This cute little girl is Sam’s daughter, Ling Ling, currently studying at Foon Yew Primary School, Standard 4.

Economic rice at Taman Molek

1 vege + pork + tofu = RM 4.50. 1 cup of plain water = 40 sen (WTH!)

This economic rice stall at Taman Molek opens from 7 am to 1am. Oh my God! 18 hours of business hours! The tauke of this stall must be already a millionaire!!!

Closed for 3 consecutive days

This 2 shops are the places I usually go for my breakfast. They are closed from 1st – 3rd of May!!! 3 days!!!!

Hey, people will mostly likely to eat out during holidays. Kopitiam must not shut down on weekends. This Ho Ping Kopitiam’s tauke must be very rich already…. (Anyway, the tauke drives his new Toyota Camry to open the shop every morning).

The curious case of Benjamin Button

I just watched this movie – The curious case of Benjamin Button, starring Brad Pitt.

It’s about a boy, Benjamin, born to be an old man and grow up young and at last, died as a baby. Biologically he was heading towards a different side but at heart, he is just the same as normal people.

He fell in love with a girl. But the problem is the girl will grow old while he grows the other way round. Benjamin did not want to be a burden of the girl, so he chose to leave.

The girl then married with another man and lead a happy and normal life. One day, when the girl was an old grandmother, she received a phone call. Welfare department found a child who suffered from dementia. The child was holding a diary and the girl’s name was written in it.

Finally, Benjamin dies… as a baby… and the girl dies… as an old woman….
