Yes, the toll hike has been deferred indefinitely. But so what? Government has decided to pay compensation to the concession companies by CASH. It’s billions of Ringgit Malaysia CASH. Those money comes from the tax payers. We rakyat are still the losers. Concession companies are still the winners.
It’s just that tolls that should be paid by highway users are now being paid by ALL Malaysian taxpayers.
Should we laugh or should we cry?
