Valentine’s Day

Hi all, it’s Valentine’s Day again. How are you going to celebrate?

I listened to 93.3 (Singapore radio station) this morning. They did a survey on the sales of chocolate during this special season. What’s your guess?

The survey found out that chocolates sell just as good as last year, if not better! Some people regard chocolate as anti-recession.

Chocolate has the ability to elevate our mood. Is it that since economy is suffering from recession, that’s why people needs to eat more chocolate to make them stay happy? haha….

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  2. As long as it has high coco content, it's ok to eat non-stop as cocoa is good for health...

  3. Great, I love chocolates. But after attending a singing class, the lecturer told us that chocolate can cause dehydration, a big no-no to our vocal chords.

  4. chocolate cause dehydration? that's a nonsense. alcohol is even more dehydrating, but you look at all the Hong Kong singers, like Faye Wong, she used to go clubbing quite often with her buddies (e.g. Lau Khar Leng), is Faye Wong's vocal affected?

p.s.: they drank alcohol when they went clubbing

  5. It is not my opinion but opinion of experts. I am not sure how she rehydrate her vocal chords but it is true that the caffein in chocolate, despite its small amount, does dehydrate the vocal chords. That is why we need to drink more water to rehydrate ourselves. Same wise with tea and coffee.

I think Faye is born with the voice. We cannot really compare to Diva like her. We are but mere commoners.
